My thirty four (and continuing) relationship with Crown Dental Laboratory I have had the privilege of working with Crown Dental Laboratory for thirty four years. It is a relationship built on quality of service, and upon mutual respect and trust.
They continue to meet my crown and bridge needs, including implant restorations. To give a short historical perspective....I graduated in 1977 and associated with Dr. Douglas MacDougall. Dr. MacDougall had an in-house dental laboratory called Sekine Labs. The owner was Mr. Tom (Fumio) Sekine. Tom decided in 1981 to return to Japan and sold his laboratory to his friend and fellow technician from Vancouver, Mr. Rick Hirata. Rick set-up a new lab in the Kingsway Professional Building and called it Crown Dental Laboratory.
In 1983 I setup my own dental clinic on 124 St and 102 Ave. It was not too long after that Rick moved his laboratory to the same building. This was very convenient for me and my patients.
Rick and Crown Lab remained at this location till Rick decided to retire and move back to Vancouver and be closer to his grandchildren. Crown Lab was purchased by Mr. Akrum Jomha. In 2009, Crown Lab relocated to its present location: 112th St. and 100th Ave. Akrum and his team continue to maintain that high quality of dental technical expertise and I am pleased to recommend Crown Dental Laboratory for your crown, bridge and implant laboratory needs.
